Gloucestershire County Council is currently consulting on proposed speed safety improvements in the Cam and Dursley area. Within the proposal drawings, the section highlighted in blue leading towards Cam is proposed to become a 30mph speed limit by virtue of street lighting.
Most of the proposed measures are focused on Dursley, following the identification of road safety concerns, including recorded collisions and other traffic-related issues within the area.
Information on the proposals can be viewed on the project webpage: Cam & Dursley Speed Safety Improvements | Highways
Members of the public are invited to attend a consultation event and provide feedback on the proposals. The event is scheduled to take place at Dursley Methodist Church on 15 June, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
