Join Cam Parish Council and Stroud Valleys Project for a fascinating evening bat walk at Rackleaze on Friday 10th July.
This free guided walk is a fantastic opportunity to discover the bats that can be found in the local area as dusk falls. Led by experienced guides, the event will include an introduction to the different bat species that may be spotted and information about their habitats, behaviour, and conservation.
Participants will meet at the Cam Parish Council Offices at 8:45pm before heading out together for the walk. The event is suitable for all ages, making it a great activity for families, nature enthusiasts, and anyone interested in local wildlife.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear, as the ground may be uneven in places. If possible, bring a torch to help navigate during the evening.
Places are free to attend, but booking is essential. Come along and enjoy a summer evening exploring nature and listening for bats in flight.
