Join Cam Parish Council for a Community BioBlitz!
Cam Parish Council has joined forces with Stroud Valleys Project to offer two free family-friendly events at Rackleaze Nature Area, off High Street in Cam during August.
The first is a BioBlitz on Thursday 8 August when youngsters can have fun hunting for mini beasts and then identifying them at the nature site, which is an important feeding area for insects, birds and bats as well as plant life around the ponds and boardwalk.
There will be three, one-hour long sessions for young critter hunters, with a maximum of 10 people on each one. These will be held at 10am, 11am and 12pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Booking is required via the links below. Images will be taken at this event for marketing.
